haircuts, parties, and pool fun!

Finally decided to use my birthday money on getting my hair cut. Thank you Jamie! Jacob wanted a picture taken of his hair too, even though he didn't get his hair cut.

This afternoon I took the boys to their friend Lyza's birthday party. We all 3 had such a good time. Brian stayed at home, trying to get a couple of house projects done in the meantime. He must have been hard at work the whole time, because he had most of 2 projects done by the time we got back a couple of hours later.

Daddy's second project (while we were at Lyza's party): replacing the bathroom linoleum and toilet. His first project was catching and removing the birds that made their nest in our attic. Put them in the backyard. Hopefully the little ones will do ok. One nasty job! Thank you Brian! Now we don't have to wake up to a family of birds chirping.

You can't see the big huge grin on his face, but Jacob was so excited just thinking about jumping in the pool. This boy LOVES water.
