End of call week party!

Brian has been on call for the last 2 weeks straight. This morning he got to turn in his on-call pager!!! We had him a party tonight when he got home (at 7pm!!!) He was surprised and excited! The kids help me hang balloons from the ceiling, make pizza, cut up some veggies, get the table set, make homemade bagels, make a french fry casserole.

The balloon says "Done with Call Party!" And above it, Jacob hung the invitation he drew for Daddy, inviting him to his party!

We had a great time. And it's so nice to know that at any minute his pager will not go off, calling him back into the hospital!

While I cleaned up, Brian helped the kids paint with a cute little paint set a friend brought over tonight...just in time for the party!

So nice to have Daddy back!!!
