an exciting trip to the grocery store. The downpour completely soaked all of our groceries (and us). Every cardboard box (macaroni and cheese, cereal, oatmeal, etc) was soggy by the time we got it into the car. Spent the next hour and a half at home drying off groceries (including drying out the pasta before re-packaging it in ziplock bags). What a pain!
On a positive note, none of the groceries were permanently ruined.
