My sweet Jacob

This afternoon was feeling a little discouraged. Was Brian was gone home teaching, and it had taken me an hour to put Tyler down for a nap (feeding him, getting his pump set up, changing diapers, etc, etc, etc). Decided to try and put Jacob down for a nap too...because I needed a break. Tucked him in, started to close his door. He started to whimper. I asked him what was wrong and he said, "mama, I just wanna take a smile with you." Took me a minute to figure out that "smile" meant "picture." That melted my heart. So I let him out of bed just for a minute and set the timer on the camera. We took one, and he just kept wanting more and more pictures of us. He gave me hugs and kisses, and was so sweet to me. That totally made my day. Tucked him in bed again. Went into the kitchen with sweet tears in my eyes--what a blessing these precious children are.
