Bummer...

Looked out the window from our upstairs bathroom to see this:

Couldn't believe it! Nothing was stolen, fortunately. So we figure either some kid or teenager was messin' around and busted it out or something. So surprising because this neighborhood is so nice and we haven't heard of any problems with vandalism in our direct area. Bummer!

Felt a lot better when Brian found a replacement window at a junkyard--$43. He figured out how and installed it while I was at mutual tonight. So free labor. I called an auto shop today just to see how much it would have been if we had taken it in and had them replace the window and they quoted it at $199. WOW! Brian saved us a LOT of money.

Lauren came over this afternoon and we finished up Ellie's apron. We were pretty proud of ourselves for getting much of anything done, with as much disciplining as we had to do! All 3 of the kids just wanted to take the couch cushions off and jump on the couch, climb up on the table, etc. Once Jacob did it once, the other two wanted to follow him. We sure did have a good time anyways, though.
