Fun kids...the monkey dance

Tyler thought of this himself today...drug the laundry basket in from the other room and used it to climb up on the bench. I was so surprised that he made it all the way up there without falling on his head!

And of course Jacob wanted to do the same thing once he saw me taking a picture of Tyler on the bench.

Another milestone for Tyler: He is starting to voluntarily put his legs straight out (instead of always having them bent behind him in "W" position)!! Yay! We have been working on this one for a LONG long time! He is not very balanced while sitting with his legs straight out still, because this is as far as he can stretch them out (you can see how his knees are bent in the picture above), but still the fact that he'll at least put them out is so exciting! His therapists will be pleased!

Jacob doing his newest silly dance...the monkey dance. He is such a goof ball sometimes. His new thing is to break out one of his "crazy dances" as he calls them, when he meets someone new or just to break the ice when someone new comes over or we go and visit someone.

And dismount. (Sorry the picture is pretty dark.) This one makes me laugh every time I see it. His mouth was wide open too, and he was making some funny noise as he jumped off. This little boy is quite the jumper. Taking after his Grandma Freeman maybe!
