I dreamed all night about packing. Got up with kids at 6:40 this morning. We were in the car and pulling out of the driveway at 8:00 am. I was pleased. Drove all day--a big of rain starting out, but nice driving conditions for the most part. So much less stressful to drive in the summer than in the winter. Drove 16 hours today.
SO nice to have Brian with me all day long! Kids have done pretty well. Have had a few rough spots, but that's to be expected. This time Tyler has been more antsy to get out of the car than Jacob even, which is not the way it has been on road trips before.
