Pony Express FHE

Grandma and Grandpa Freeman sent us a letter that was actually ridden across most of the country by the pony express (they had a celebration for the anniversary of the pony express, and actually had pony express riders deliver mail). So for FHE, we had our own pony express delivery. I got the boys all ready, we made signs together for our pony express stations. Blake was our first pony express rider (with Mom's help he rode a stick horse), he handed off the mail and the other pouch (with a water bottle & a whistle & FHE treats) to Tyler, who was on a rocking horse. (I took a video, but didn't get many pictures). Then he rode until the next station, where Jacob took it for the last leg of the journey, outside to the pony express mailbox...Dad opened up the letter and read us our pony express letter.

It was a lot of fun!
