The marble jar is...FULL! For the past 2 weeks, every time the boys do a job around the house (going potty, setting the table, running an errand, putting something away), they get get a marble. Some days they have come asking for job after job to do, trying to fill up their jar quicker. The deal was as soon as it was full, we would take them to the mall and they could ride the "polar express" ($2 a ride)--a yearly tradition now. Today they did it!

2 happy boys!

Aftewards Jacob checked out the tracks, trying to figure out how they assembled them inside the mall, and what they were made of, etc. Also asked how big the train's battery was to be able to go around so many times without being recharged! I love his inquisitive mind.

As they insist upon doing every year after their ride, they want to watch as the train takes other passengers around and around.

Jacob's been saving up his money so he could buy gumballs. Had enough money for 3, but bought two instead. Gave one to Tyler, and ate one himself. I was so impressed that he was that generous. He did a lot of jobs around the house to earn them.

Made a stop for a few minutes by the kidz corner in the mall, where "the Polar Express" was playing on their bigscreen TV. The kids were excited, since they had just taken a ride on the "polar express."

Eggnog...Brian's happy to have Jacob join the ranks of eggnog likers.

night...making sushi together.
