The wall with scriptures

I has found that with studying the scriptures with my children that we do OK for about 3-4 minutes, then we hit a wall.  Kids crying, wiggling, falling apart.  It is tempting to just give up then, but if we can push through that wall, then what follows is a wonderful discussion about the Scriptures.  This has been a tried and tested pattern for us.
