Jacob and Tyler were especially excited that their first day of school was today, because they got to ride the same school bus as their cousins, Austin and Kathryn. For the next couple of weeks until our house is finished, they are catching the bus at Aunt Amy's house.
Austin and Tyler are both starting first grade, and their classrooms are right next to each other.
On a side note, it was incredibly easier to grocery shop and run errands with 3 kids instead of 5! I loved having all the kids home, I am always sad when the summer ends. But with how busy life has been with l finishing our house, this time around school is a welcome relief as well.
The highlight of our summer was finishing the Book of Mormon together. We finished on Sunday night (our goal was to read it by the end of the summer). It has brought so much guidance and direction this summer, as it always does. If any of you have not read it, I would love to share a copy with you!
