The fun continues...

Went to Tyler's physical therapy appt, as usual. Two most exciting parts:
Driving through tons of puddles on the sides of the road. The water was splashing up above the side windows of the car. Life doesn't get much more exciting for 2 and 3 year old boys!

And the 2nd thing was the glasses Jacob got...his prize (which he found himself) from Christina for being so good during therapy today. He was so excited to have glasses like Uncle William.
splashing in a few puddles...And of course driving the bike through it...while Tyler and I waited in the car for a few minutes.

Jacob was even sweet enough to share his brand new glasses with Tyler. Without any prompting from Mom!

Then Jacob decided he wanted his glasses back, so he put Mr. Potato Head's glasses on Tyler so he would still have a pair to wear!
William's Lebron/Cav's shirt.
Went to NASA in the afternoon. Talk about high security...that was for sure the most memorable part of our trip there. They had us sign a couple of things on our way in, fully searched our car. (The funniest part about that was they had William and I step out. The boys were still in the car. Jacob saw an airplane and kept telling the security officer checking our car to look at the airplane. He just couldn't understand why the cop was not totally excited about the airplane. He asked me when I got back in the car..."Mom, why he just wouldn't look at the AIRPLANE??"). Once we got in there, Jacob tried to push the emergency alarm on one of the simulators. Luckily William noticed before he actually did.
Jacob has LOVED following William around everywhere. He waits for him every morning to wake up and as soon as he heard noise coming from the room where William was sleeping, he ran right in there to start playing with him. William has been such a good sport with the kids. Patient and so fun for them!
My little astronaut. Not quite tall enough.

William helping Tyler try to ride the little bike.
Grilled out for dinner. Yum! We grilled onion rings inside the alum. foil.
Playing Rummikub.

Kirtland

I always love to see the picket fences.

As soon as Jacob got a chance, he was off to find rocks to throw rocks into the stream.

A pensive moment. I love the green, green grass and beautiful landscaping at Kirtland.

Escape #2 to the stream.
I had to smile when I saw this baby bottle. The sister giving the tour said that back then the bottles were made of pure lead...yikes! Besides the lead concern, baby would have to have some good muscles before I'd let him hold his own bottle over his face!

The 2 things William really wanted to see downtown were "Lebron's wall" (above), and the "Q", where the Cavs play.

Day 2 with William

Jacob felt pretty cool in Uncle William's sunglasses. Wishing for his own pair! Probably won't be Oakleys, but we'll have to find him a pair.
A handsome set of boys.
On the tram. Jacob was SO excited to get to ride on a "train."
Walked the hill UP to the monkeys, then took the tram down because we were in a hurry.

The boys anxiously waiting to see what's inside the special box from Uncle William and Aunt Heidi!!

Mr. Potato Head, or as Jacob called it, "Sister Tomato Head."
Mr. Potato head went with us everywhere for the rest of the day. Even took a nap with Jacob.

On our way to Kirtland. (Pictures from that in separate post)

Uncle William

This morning Jacob and I made pancakes together. Jacob had so much fun making (and ate SO many) animal-shape cutouts.
Found him here for hide and seek
Uncle William (my 18-year old brother) arrived tonight just before kids' bedtime. Jacob instantly wanted to do everything he saw William do. William ate a sandwich, Jacob wanted one too. William pulled sat on a chair in the living room, Jacob pulled in one for himself. It was so cute!

SO SO EXCITED TO HAVE WILIAM HERE!
