A fun filled Saturday

Brian finished finals on Friday (yesterday) and so we decided to pack the weekend full of fun with him before he heads down to Louisville, KY for the month of March. First we went to the Great Lakes Science Center.
We were the only ones there playing in the ball pit for the first few minutes (we got there right when it opened). That was nice. Usually it's so crowded that Jacob and Tyler (Tyler especially) just hang back and watch the other, bigger kids.

Tyler started climbing up the platform...his first time climbing up actual steps. Yay Tyler!

And Tyler loved the slide too!

For lunch we used our gift card to Antonio's Pizza. Delicious! My favorite were the deep fried, breaded, pepperoni's. Yum Yum! Thank you Pamela!!

It was a fun day, but a hard day at the same time...hard not to think about Brian leaving us...knowing that starting tomorrow it's going to be more than a month before we get to have Brian with us here. We're sure going to miss him. I know we can and will do it, and we'll learn a lot and be stronger because of it, but I'm not looking forward to being away from each other so much for so long. We've never been away from each other for longer than 2 days in the 3 1/2 years we've been married!
