One of Jacob's many mosquito bites...this one is the biggest. And he hasn't even itched it.

Yep, he got my mosquito reaction trait. Poor kid. So glad I brought our hydrocortisone cream.

Mom and Dad are busy most of the day...we see them in the evenings most of the time, but they keep pretty busy with their responsibilities as directors here. This morning we took a walk down to see the animals...Jacob talked to the animals and he was happy that the horse listened to him and came. (I think he thought Jacob was trying to feed him actually).

Jacob wanted to pet him, until he saw all the fleas or flies all over him. That turned him off to the idea.

Jacob FINALLY went in the rover with Grandpa...WITHOUT ME! I was so excited. He did insist on Tyler going with him, but I was so happy that he finally went alone with Grandpa.

This afternoon we went into town (about an hour away) for a couple of appts. Mom and Dad had.

Mom bought Jacob a whistle pop in the music store. You pushed the stick in the end in and out and you could actually make music with it. Pretty fun.

Jacob snuck in a little nap while we travelled.

Grandpa (Brian's Dad) with J and T, on top of the Natural Bridge. We had a picnic there before making the short hike up to the top. A beautiful wooded area.

Jacob's favorite part was throwing rocks into the stream. He was even more excited that Grandpa joined in.

A big herd of cattle on our drive back.

An antelope (or prong-horn)...not sure which one.

The beautiful rainbow as we drove out and while we were talking on the phone to Brian. Mom calls Brian her rainbow because he was such a good kid growing up. Her pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

2 rainbows together.

The weather around here is crazy! One minute it's hot hot, and then it will start thunderstorming out of nowhere, then will be cold enough that you want a winter coat for a few minutes. Then will be super windy. Then will be warm again. All within an hour or something. This was the storm we got on the drive home.

Jacob kicked back in his bed, talking to his Daddy on the phone.
